Baseball Field–Hennekens Stadium
Adjacent to the Fitzgerald Gym sports complex, Hennekens Stadium is home to our baseball team. The natural grass field is approximately 400-feet to the center field fence and includes dirt base paths. Aluminum bleachers can seat up to 150 spectators.
In October 2015, the field was named after Queens College alumnus, Charles Hennekens, class of 1963, who was a member of both the baseball and basketball teams. Also a world-renowned scientist, Hennekens was ranked #81 by Science Heroes for "Most Lives Saved in History" for discovering that aspirin prevents a first heart attack and can prevent death when given during or after a heart attack.
The venue also hosts a variety of youth and adult leagues during the spring and summer months.
