South Gym
Located on the third floor of Fitzgerald Gymnasium, the South Gym is home to the men's and women's basketball teams.  The 22,800 sq. ft. facility boasts 30-foot ceilings and a built-in, 1,200 person seating capacity.  The gym can host up to five, hardwood basketball and volleyball courts, making it ideal for tournaments and championships.  The facility is also Wi-Fi and wheelchair accessible.Â
The North Gym is located immediately adjacent, allowing for the flexibility to expand to an all-encompassing 41,800 sq. ft.  The expanded facility is ideal for hosting trade shows, martial arts tournaments and camps.Â
The main court was recently named Lucille Kyvallos Court (New York City Basketball Hall of Fame, Founders Award and Lapchick Award), in dedication to Queens College's legendary basketball coach.  She remains the first and only woman to have a court named in her honor in New York City.
