Dr. Ya Ching Hung, Ed. D., P.T. was named the Department of Athletics and Recreation Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) to start the 2023-2024 Academic year.
Dr. Hung is a Professor and Deputy Chair of the Department of the Family Nutrition and Exercise Sciences.
A licensed Physical Therapist in New York, Dr. Hung has been a consultant Physical Therapist for Constraint and Bimanual Intensive Training for children with unilateral Cerebral Palsy camp at Columbia University since 2007.
She has been awarded the 2009 William Stewart Travel Awards and in 2019 the Stefan Bernard Baumrin Associate Professor Travel Award.
A native of Taiwan, She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the National Taiwan University before going on to earn a M.A., Ed. M., and Ed.D. in Motor Learning & Control from Columbia University.
