Thomas Bashen was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in 2024 and enters his fifth year with the Athletics Department.
Over the last few years, Bashen has been a valuable member of the Athletics Department including serving as the department office manager before moving into an interim role as a compliance coordinator.
"Thomas has been tremendous in assisting with the departmental priority of maintaining a culture that is committed to serving the student-athletes." Said Twible. "He works tirelessly for our student-athletes and coaching staff. This is a well-deserved promotion for someone who strives each day to improve our athletics department and we're proud to have him on our team."
As the Assistant A.D. For Compliance, Bashen will oversee the certification of eligibility of the Knights' 15 Division II Sports and over 225 student-athletes; monitor recruiting and practice/playing season bylaws; provide NCAA rules education to QC coaches and staff; provide mandatory reports for the NCAA and East Coast Conference; oversee waiver submissions and the transfer portal; serve as the institutional S.A.A.C coordinator; and manage the day-to-day compliance operations within the athletic department.
