Lucio Sorto enters his fourth season as a member of head coach Thomas Paris’s staff with the Queens College women’s soccer program.

In 2024, Sorto played a vital role as the Knights posted a 10-7-1 overall record, earned a third-place finish in the East Coast Conference standings, and won their first-ever ECC postseason match, advancing to the conference semifinals.

 In 2023, Sorto helped guide the Knights to a 6-7-4 overall record and a 3-3-2 mark in ECC play, securing the program’s first ECC postseason appearance in a decade.

A former four-year defender at Molloy University, Sorto was part of two ECC postseason teams, including a run to the ECC Championship final in 2016. He brings valuable playing experience and tactical insight to his coaching role.

In addition to his work at Queens, Sorto serves as a head coach at East Coast Football Club, where he leads multiple youth teams, including Boys U10, Boys and Girls U14, and Boys U18.
