Josh Ebrahim enters his first year as an assistant coach under Travis Ponton at Queens College.

He helps manage all aspects of the women’s basketball program, including recruiting and retaining student-athletes, player development, practice coaching, video analysis, academic monitoring, travel logistics, administrative duties, and supporting team events such as fundraising, community service, and alumni activities, while ensuring the program operates in compliance with NCAA, ECC, CUNY, and Queens College rules.

Ebrahim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology from Washington State University in 2007 and an MBA in Contracts and Acquisitions from Webster University in 2011. He brings extensive experience in basketball coaching, professional player representation, and sports analytics. Prior to joining Queens College, he served as Head Coach of the Girls JV Basketball team at The Hewitt School in New York and as a Graduate School Adjunct Professor at the Roc Nation School of Sports, Music, and Entertainment at Long Island University, where he developed and instructed graduate-level courses in Sports Analytics and Sports Finance. He also serves as Director of Scouting for Prep Girls Hoops in New York and is the founder of ProFitX, an innovative sports analytics platform used by NBA teams and players, featuring tools like the Sports Probability Platform and The Athledex, which provide real-time performance and financial insights for athletes.

Earlier in his career, Ebrahim was President of Basketball Operations and an NBA player agent at Rosenhaus Sports Representation, representing 12 NBA players, including First Round Draft Picks and award-winning athletes, while building the company’s basketball division. His combination of coaching, player development, analytics expertise, and professional basketball experience makes him a valuable addition to the Queens College women’s basketball program.
