Joseph Yonkers, who has been with the Athletics department for over six years, was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations in 2024.
Yonkers who has been part of Queens College since his undergraduate days with the Continuing Education department moved over to the Athletics department in the Spring of 2018.

"Joe has proven to be a dedicated and hardworking leader," said Twible. "He has accepted each challenge and has shown a positive attitude to help the department grow."

Yonkers took over as the Business Manager before taking on additional responsibilities in the past few years.

A leader for the business side of the department, he oversees the departmental budget in all aspects related to accounting and purchasing, and human resources and assists in the coordination of team travel. Â

Yonkers graduated from Queens College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Economics in 2007.
