Dave Ramirez, a former Queens College men’s soccer student-athlete and Class of 2019 alum, enters his sixth season on head coach Frank Vertullo’s staff.

Ramirez played under Vertullo during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, making 22 starts and earning All-ECC Third Team honors his senior year while helping lead the Knights to a 10-4-3 record and a postseason berth.

Since joining the staff, Ramirez has been a critical asset in player development, defensive coordination, and match preparation, contributing to the program’s rise to prominence. During his tenure, the Knights have achieved multiple postseason appearances, two NCAA Tournament bids, and captured both their first ECC Regular Season and Tournament Championships. Ramirez's efforts have contributed to the development of numerous All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference players, reflecting the high standard of excellence cultivated within the program.

Ramirez graduated from Queens College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He earned a Masters Degree in K-12 Health Education. He is a certified New York State Physical Education teacher for the DOE.
