At the Yale Invitational, Indira broke two of her own schoolrecords. She was the top Division II finisher with a time of5:15.33 in the one-mile run. She also placed fourth against mostlyDivision I competition in the 3000m with a record time of 10:22.42.(1/14/12)

At the CTC Relay Invitational, Indira came in first in the 3000again with a time of 10:31.56. (12/4/12)
On December 7, 2012 at the Bill Ward Challenge, Indira placedsecond in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.68. She also tookfirst in the one mile run with a time of 5:17.22.
At the Wesleyan Invitational, Indira took fourth in the one milewith a time of 5:27.21.
At the Boston University Terrier Invite, Avila ran in the 5000mto a time of 18:04.38, also a season best for her and25th best in the nation.
