Queens College Athletics

Somadi should be familiar to fans Queens College after playingfirst and second singles and first doubles at Concordia College(NY) for three seasons. She was a first team all-star in each ofthose years, winning the ECC Player of the Year award for 2007.

In 2008 Somadi won the ITA doubles title and ranked third insingles in the East. She finished seventh in the NCAA Small CollegeDoubles nationals and was ranked 25th nationally and finished theseason 15-0 in singles and 14-1 in doubles. For her efforts she wasnamed first team all-ECC, ECC Senior of the Year, Concordia''sWomen''s Athlete of the Year and made the ECC Commissioner''s HonorRoll for student-athletes with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Somadi is a qualified tennis coach who''s first language isAfrikaans and who graduated from Concordia with a BA inBehavioral Science.
