Lucio Sorto enters his third season as an assistant coach as part of head coach Thomas Paris’s staff.
In 2023 Sorto helped Knights finish the year with an overall record of 6-7-4 and a 3-3-2 record in ECC play as Queens earned their first ECC postseason spot in 10 years.
Sorto is tasked with assisting Paris in preparing training sessions and working the defensive line.
A four-year defender at Molloy University, Sorto helped the Lions make the ECC postseason twice including a spot in the ECC final in 2016.
Currently, Sorto is a head coach at East Coast Football Club where he is in charge of the Boys U10, Boys and Girls U14, and Boys U18.
