Ken Passante joined the Queens College softball coaching staff for the 2018 season.
A prominent figure in and around softball across the entire New York Tri-State area, Passante is credited with starting the softball programs at both Suffolk Community College and the now-defunct Briarcliffe College. He also had stints as an assistant coach at Adelphi University as well as a turn as the head coach of Division I Saint Peter's University in New Jersey. In his career, he appeared in nine College World Series and was a five-time Regional Coach of the Year from 1999-2003 as well as a two-time College All-Star coach.
