Before Queens: Attended Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical High School in Jamaica, N.Y., where he was a four-year runner for the school''s varsity boys track team...Named team captain in his junior and senior seasons and was the Lamps'' Outdoor Track & Field MVP in 2015...City Champion in the 4x100-meter relay in 2013...Finished his career with 12 PSAL medals and 30 top-10 finishes as a Sprinter.

Personal: Son of Kelly and Charles...Has one younger sister, Julia...Lists his favorite athletes as U.S. professional sprinter Tyson Gay and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders...Enjoys playing basketball, football and soccer in his down time...Spent the summer before his senior year volunteering as a clinical assistant at the New York Hospital in Queens...Rededicated himself to track and school after Hurricane Sandy devastated his home, working hard and eventually medaling at the PSAL City Championship...Aspires to be a Physical Education teacher and is currently majoring in that field.
