Queens College Athletics

2017:  : Played in all 16 games, starting fourteen for the QC Backline…Had a total of 8 shots…Tallied two assists as a defenseman…Helped keep two clean sheets for the Knights…Had one assist in the 3-0 win against Holy Family (9/2)…Assisted the game winning goal at Roberts Wesleyan (10/14).

2016: Started in all 17 matches for the Knights... As a member of the QC backline, helped the Knights secure three shutouts... Registered an assist and took two shots... Recorded first career assist and attempted a shot in tie with Mercy (10/15).

2015: Appeared in five matches in a reserve role for the Knights... Made Queens College debut as a substitute in the 85th minute of the Knights'' match at Adelphi (10/6).

Before Queens: Starred at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he was named team captain and received honorable mention in the All-Broward County division for the 2015 soccer season...Played club soccer with Futsoc and coach Jose Tamayo in which his club was ranked No. 1 in the country. 

Personal: Son of Emily and Kevin Companion...Has an older sister, Nicole...Also goes by Vinnie...Favorite athletes are Italian soccer player Andrea Pirlo and Kobe Bryant...plans to become a physical education teacher and aspires to be an athletic director...majoring in Physical Education.
