Paul Hayes enters his first season as an assistant coach. 

Hayes, a 2019 graduate, played under coach Vertullo for three season from 2017-2019 which saw him start in 40 career games for the Knights. He played a key role on defense for the team in 2018 that saw them put together the program’s best season in over a decade when the team went 10-4-3. In his senior campaign in 2019 Hayes was awarded All-conference honors as he was named to the All-ECC 2nd team. 

Hayes graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
