Job Title: Counselor 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. High School graduate 
  2. Experience working with children (babysitting, school fieldwork, assisting in the classroom, etc.) 
  3. Strong desire to work with children 
  4. Enthusiasm, patience, and self-control 

 GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY 

  1. Supervise a group of children, attending to their needs and keeping them on schedule
  2. Assisting teachers in all classes 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Keep daily attendance records for the group  
  2. Supervise safe transport of children from activity to activity 
  3. Tend to all personal needs of children 
  4. Assist teachers in their needs during Education classes 
  5. Accompany children to bathroom, water breaks and Sports activites

Pay range: $350–$370 per week.


Job Title: Lifeguard 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School Graduate 
  2. Lifeguard Training, CPR-PR, and WSI preferred 
  3. Varsity swim team experience or one-year lifeguard experience 
  4. Strong desire to work with children 
  5. Enthusiasm, patience, and self-control

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY 

  1. Fulfill lifeguard duties in a camp setting. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. To watch the assigned area of the pool for safe activity 
  2. Remove any camper not following pool rules 
  3. Report behavioral problem campers to the pool coordinator 
  4. Test all children for swim ability level and assign them to the corresponding pool area 
  5. Assure all necessary flotation devices are being used 

Pay range: $450–$470 per week.


Job Title: Education Teacher 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Bachelor's degree 
  2. Two years of teaching or camp work experience 
  3. First aid and CPR certification 
  4. Strong desire to work with children 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY 

  1. Conduct classes in a camp environment 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Prepare lesson plans and implement activities for classes
  2. Make use of counselors to assist in conducting class 
  3. Inspect the class area and all equipment & supplies to be used daily for safety 
  4. Prepare each class for fire and emergency evacuation procedures 
  5. Account for all children in class during any evacuation procedure 
  6. Caring for all equipment 
  7. Report all facility and equipment problems to the administrative staff 

Pay Range: $630 per week 


Job Title: Sports Instructor / Tennis & Pickle Ball Instructor 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Varsity sports experience coaching 
  2. Experience working with children  
  3. Strong desire to work with children 
  4. Enthusiasm, patience, and self-control 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Prepare a lesson plan for sports activities each day
  2. Instruct in basic game skills 
  3. Make use of counselors to assist in conducting class 
  4. Inspect the area and all equipment and supplies to be used daily for safety 
  5. Assist in fire and emergency evacuation procedures  
  6. Maintain all equipment 
  7. Report all facility and equipment problems to the administrative staff

Pay Range: $ 350 per week
