Job Title: Counselor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate
- Experience working with children (babysitting, school fieldwork, assisting in the classroom, etc.)
- Strong desire to work with children
- Enthusiasm, patience, and self-control
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Supervise a group of children, attending to their needs and keeping them on schedule
- Assisting teachers in all classes
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep daily attendance records for the group
- Supervise safe transport of children from activity to activity
- Tend to all personal needs of children
- Assist teachers in their needs during Education classes
- Accompany children to bathroom, water breaks and Sports activites
Pay range: $350–$370 per week.
Job Title: Lifeguard
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate
- Lifeguard Training, CPR-PR, and WSI preferred
- Varsity swim team experience or one-year lifeguard experience
- Strong desire to work with children
- Enthusiasm, patience, and self-control
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Fulfill lifeguard duties in a camp setting.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- To watch the assigned area of the pool for safe activity
- Remove any camper not following pool rules
- Report behavioral problem campers to the pool coordinator
- Test all children for swim ability level and assign them to the corresponding pool area
- Assure all necessary flotation devices are being used
Pay range: $450–$470 per week.
Job Title: Education Teacher
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of teaching or camp work experience
- First aid and CPR certification
- Strong desire to work with children
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Conduct classes in a camp environment
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare lesson plans and implement activities for classes
- Make use of counselors to assist in conducting class
- Inspect the class area and all equipment & supplies to be used daily for safety
- Prepare each class for fire and emergency evacuation procedures
- Account for all children in class during any evacuation procedure
- Caring for all equipment
- Report all facility and equipment problems to the administrative staff
Pay Range: $630 per week
Job Title: Sports Instructor / Tennis & Pickle Ball Instructor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Varsity sports experience coaching
- Experience working with children
- Strong desire to work with children
- Enthusiasm, patience, and self-control
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare a lesson plan for sports activities each day
- Instruct in basic game skills
- Make use of counselors to assist in conducting class
- Inspect the area and all equipment and supplies to be used daily for safety
- Assist in fire and emergency evacuation procedures
- Maintain all equipment
- Report all facility and equipment problems to the administrative staff
Pay Range: $ 350 per week
