Howard Elson
Howard M. Elson was a standout pitcher for the Queens College baseball team in the late 1960s. During the 1967 season, Elson helped lead the nationally ranked Knights to their first Knickerbocker Conference Championship, while he earned Knickerbocker Pitcher of the Year and all-conference honors. He led the team with a 6-2 record in 1967, and his 1.57 ERA that season ranks among the lowest in single season school history. Elson is fourth in program history in career wins (16) and sixth in single season strikeouts (64).
