Frank Saracino
Frank Saracino was a key member of the Queens College baseball team during the early 1950s. Saracino was recognized with all-conference accolades from the Knickerbocker Conference in 1953 and 1954 at catcher. In 1953, he was the Knickerbocker Conference batting champion, posting an outstanding .453 batting average that season. Saracino was also team captain of the bowling team during his time at Queens. He went on to play minor league baseball and was an all-star catcher for the N.Y. Oaks in the Tri State League.
