Queens College Athletics

During the 1980 season, the Queens College softball team captured the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) Conference Championship (New York State Division III Championship). The Knights put together a 17-6 overall record in 1980 with head coach Lynne Withers guiding the way. Eileen MacLellan, a member of the Hall of Fame Class of 2013, was one of many standouts on a talented squad ahead of its time.
