Marjorie Larney | Track and Field
Marjorie Larney is an Olympian, like 2012 Athletics Hall
of Fame Inductees Gail Marquis and Bob Koehler. A standout track
and field athlete during her time in Flushing, Larney saw her best
success in the discus and javelin throws, winning a bronze medal in
the discus at the 1955 Pan Am Games and capturing a silver in the
javelin at the 1959 Games. The four-time All-American also
competed at the 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics.
