Queens Men’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule with Strong Non-Conference Slate

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College men's soccer team has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging 18-match slate with nine contests at home and nine on the road.
 
Head coach Frank Vertullo, who enters his ninth season leading the Knights, has assembled a schedule highlighted by several NCAA Division II Tournament-caliber opponents and conference postseason contenders. The Knights will face six opponents that competed in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament, while a total of eight non-conference opponents advanced to their respective conference postseason tournaments.
 
For the first time since the 2023 season, Queens will begin the year on the road as the Knights travel to Dominican University of New York on Thursday, Aug. 27. The Knights will then return to Flushing for their home opener on Saturday, Aug. 29, welcoming defending Super Region 1 Champions Southern New Hampshire University.
 
The non-conference schedule continues with road contests at Holy Family (Sept. 2), East Stroudsburg (Sept. 5), and Bridgeport (Sept. 9). The Knights will then open their longest homestand of the season with four consecutive matches at home, beginning with Georgian Court (Sept. 12) and Wilmington (Sept. 16). Queens will then open East Coast Conference play against Roberts Wesleyan (Sept. 19) before hosting College of Staten Island (Sept. 23).
 
Following the homestand, Queens travels to Assumption on Sept. 26 before closing out September with a home matchup against Franklin Pierce on Sept. 30.
 
The Knights begin October with a home contest against the University of the District of Columbia on Oct. 3 before heading on the road for matches at St. Thomas Aquinas (Oct. 7) and Daemen (Oct. 10). Queens returns home to host Adelphi on Oct. 14 and will celebrate Senior Day against Molloy on Oct. 17 before concluding the regular season with road matches at Mercy (Oct. 21) and D'Youville (Oct. 24).
 
East Coast Conference postseason play is scheduled to begin with the First Round on Thursday, Oct. 29, hosted by the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. The semifinal round is set for Sunday, Nov. 1, with the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds serving as hosts. The ECC Championship match will take place on Sunday, Nov. 8, and will be hosted by the highest remaining seed.
