CALDWELL, N.J. – Looking to conclude their four-match road stand on a high note, the Queens College men's soccer team traveled to Caldwell, N.J., for a non-conference matchup against the Cougars of Caldwell University at Caldwell Athletics Field.
The Knights wasted little time taking control, jumping out to a 1–0 lead in the 25th minute as junior forward

Andrew Johnson (Oakdale, N.Y.) recorded his first brace of the year nine minutes into the second half to help Queens secure a 3–0 shutout victory over the Cougars.
With the victory, the Knights improve to 11-2-3 on the year.
MATCH RECAP
It was a quiet start to the match as both teams worked to settle into the contest. Caldwell recorded the first shot in the 14th minute, but it sailed wide.
The Knights quickly began to take control, tallying three shots over the next 10 minutes as they looked to dictate the tempo.

Carlos Villa (Medellin, Colombia) delivered a precise cross that found Udo, who tapped the ball into the left side of the net for an early 1–0 lead.
Queens dominated the remainder of the first half, outshooting Caldwell 11–1, including 5–0 on goal, and carried a 1–0 advantage into halftime.
The Knights continued their strong play after the break, doubling their lead just two minutes into the second half. Udo notched his sixth assist of the season, setting up Johnson to bury his first goal of the match and give Queens a 2–0 lead.

Queens extended their advantage to 3–0 in the 55th minute. Rookie
Bradyn Brown (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) maneuvered past two defenders to deliver a through ball to Johnson, who finished past the Cougars' goalkeeper to complete his second career brace.

th overall victory and their fifth clean sheet of the year.
