PHILADELPHIA, PA. – Hitting the road to conclude the non-conference portion of the regular season, the Queens College men's soccer team traveled to Philadelphia, PA with a Wednesday afternoon matchup against the Rams of Thomas Jefferson University at Ravenhill Field.
After a scoreless first half, the Rams would record two goals in the second half to defeat the Knights to the final score of 2-0.

- Queens began as the aggressor as they outshot the Rams 5-1 in the opening 15 minutes of the match including two shots on goal from sophomore Harry Cooke (Market Drayton, England) and junior Jose Mendez (Queens, N.Y.).
- It would be a defensive battle for the remainder of the first half as both sides combined for six shots on goal.
- The Rams would take a 1-0 lead in the 60th minute of play.
- Looking to respond, Queens would outshoot the Rams 6-2 over the next 15 minutes of play as they looked to find an equalizer.
- The home side would close out the scoring in the 87th minute of play to earn a 2-0 victory over the Knights.

- In net, senior Austin Matthews (Chico, CA) made a career-high seven saves on the afternoon.
