FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Queens College women's soccer team went 1-0-1 last week as they earned a victory over St. Thomas Aquinas College and a tie with Molloy in East Coast Conference play.
This week the Knights conclude the final week of regular season beginning with a non-conference match against the Golden Falcons of Felician University on Wednesday (Oct. 25) afternoon. ECC play officially concludes on Saturday (Oct. 28) afternoon as the Knights welcome the Saints of D'Youville University in a crucial conference matchup to decide the season.

Queens College Knights Preview (5-6-4 Overall Record, 2-3-2 ECC)
- Head Coach Thomas Paris and the Knights went 1-0-1 last week as they earned a 4-2 victory over STAC at home before earning a crucial scoreless draw against Molloy on the road.
- On Tuesday (Sept. 12), the Knights were awarded the program's first-ever East Regional ranking by the United Soccer Coaches as they were ranked 10th.
- With one ECC match left on the docket and having earned eight points, the Knights enter the final week of ECC play with an overall record of 2-3-2 with everything to play for as they currently stand at sixth and hold the final spot as they look to return to postseason play.
- A win over D'Youville will clinch the Knights a playoff spot.
- A tie will give Queens nine points but will still need a Molloy victory or tie over CSI.
- A loss to the Saints will put Queens' fate relying on Molloy's victory over CSI.
- A Queens loss and Molloy/CSI tie will clinch a spot for the Knights as they have conceded fewer goals than CSI on the year.
- A Queens loss and a CSI win will eliminate the Knights.
- Junior Julia Ragone (Centereach, N.Y.) leads the offense having scored six goals and two assists for 14 points.
- To date, the junior has tallied 13 goals and six assists in 43 matches.
- Ragone has recorded a career-best four game-winners on the year in the victories over Jefferson, SNHU, Goldey-Beacom, and Lincoln.
- On Oct. 9, Ragone was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season.
- The junior has been named to the Honor Roll sheet on three separate occasions.
- Junior Jacklyn Diel (Stony Brook, N.Y.) has recorded two goals and one assist for five points on the year.
- The Stony Brook native has tallied two goals in the last four matches played.
- In 40 matches, Diel has tallied eight goals and three assists for 19 points.
- Freshman rookie Lluvy Lewis (Valley Stream, N.Y.) has totaled three points having tallied her first goal and assist against Jefferson on Sept. 6.
- Her Career-best performance would earn her ECC Rookie of the Week honors on Week Two of the ECC Weekly Report Sheet (Sept. 11).
- In goal, graduate student Erin Kelly (Massapequa, N.Y.) has recorded 55 saves in 13 matches holding a 0.90 goals against average with five shutouts.
- She was awarded ECC Defensive Player of the Week in the first ECC Weekly Awards released on Tuesday (Sept. 5) afternoon.
- She has earned an ECC Honor Roll spot on two separate occasions.
Felician University Golden Falcons Preview (0-10-3 Overall Record)
- Felician enters the week with an overall record of 0-10-3 and coming off a 1-0 loss to Chestnut Hill College.
- Wednesday's meeting will be the 13th meeting between both sides with Queens holding an 8-2-2 series lead.
- Queens is in search of their first victory since the 2013 season when they earned a 1-0 win at home.
- Carlie Koziol leads the offense having tallied two goals and one assist for five points, while two Golden Falcons have recorded four points on the year.
- In goal, Alexis Lambertino has recorded 88 saves and holds a 3.08 goals against average.
D'Youville University Saints Preview (4-6-3 Overall Record, 3-2-1 ECC)
- D'Youville enters the week with an overall record of 4-6-3 and 3-2-1 in ECC play and will host Daemen before visiting Flushing on Saturday afternoon.
- Saturday's meeting will be the 3rd meeting with the Knights trailing the series 0-1-1.
- Queens is looking for their first win over the Saints in program history.
- Laoise O'Haodha leads the offense having recorded five goals for 10 points, while two Saints have tallied seven points on the year.
- In net, Kailie Regan has recorded 42 saves and holds a 1.97 goals against average.
