FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Queens College women's soccer team went 1-0-1 on the week earning a non-conference victory over Goldey-Beacom at home before earning a draw against CSI in East Coast Conference play to conclude the week.
This week the Knights open a two-match road stand beginning with a trip to Springfield, MA. on Wednesday (Oct. 4) afternoon as they matchup against the Yellow Jackets of American International College before concluding the week in ECC play against the Lions of Lincoln University (PA.) on Saturday (Oct. 7) afternoon.

Queens College Knights Preview (3-4-2 Overall Record, 0-2-1 ECC)
- Head Coach Thomas Paris and the Knights went 1-0-1 on the week earning a 2-0 non-conference victory over Goldey-Beacom at home before earning their first ECC point of the year with a scoreless draw against CSI Saturday afternoon.
- On Tuesday (Sept. 12), the Knights were awarded the program's first-ever East Regional ranking by the United Soccer Coaches as they were ranked 10th.
- Junior Julia Ragone (Centereach, N.Y.) leads the offense having scored three goals for six points.
- To date, the junior has tallied 10 goals and four assists in 37 matches.
- On Sept. 25, Ragone earned her second ECC Honor Roll spot of the season.
- On Oct. 2, Ragone earned her second straight ECC Honor Roll spot and third of the year.
- Freshman rookie Lluvy Lewis (Valley Stream, N.Y.) has totaled three points having tallied her first goal and assist against Jefferson on Sept. 6.
- Her Career-best performance would earn her ECC Rookie of the Week honors on Week Two of the ECC Weekly Report Sheet (Sept. 11). (Link)
- In goal, graduate student Erin Kelly (Massapequa, N.Y.) has recorded 36 saves in eight matches holding a 0.89 goals against average with three shutouts.
- She was awarded ECC Defensive Player of the Week in the first ECC Weekly Awards released on Tuesday (Sept. 5) afternoon. (Link)
- She has earned an ECC Honor Roll spot on two separate occasions.
American International College Yellow Jackets Preview (4-2 Overall Record)
- AIC enters the week with an overall record of 4-2 and are coming off a 1-1 week having fallen to Bentley before ending the week with a victory over Assumption.
- Wednesday's meeting will be the first meeting against AIC in program history.
- The Yellow Jackets are led by Charlotte Bernard who has recorded seven points with three goals and one assist, while Hannah Storozuk has tallied six points for two goals and two assists.
- In net, two Yellow Jackets have combined for 23 saves and hold a 1.17 goals against average in six matches.
Lincoln University Lions Preview (0-7-2 Overall Record, 0-4 ECC)
- Lincoln enters the week with an overall record of 0-7-2 and 0-4 in ECC play and are coming off a 0-2 week in conference play. The Lions will match up against Virginia State on Wednesday before hosting the Knights on Saturday afternoon.
- It will be the sixth meeting against the Lions in program history with Queens holding a 5-0 series advantage.
- Last season the Knights earned an 8-0 victory over the Lions in Flushing on Oct. 8.
- The Lions are led by Grace Quiah who has recorded six points for two goals and two assists, while Jordan Allison has tallied four points for two goals.
- In net, three goalies have combined for 88 saves and hold a combined 3.44 goals against average.
