Flushing, N.Y.- The Queens College women's soccer team will kick off their season for the first time since November 2019 as they travel to Lafayette Hill, PA with a matchup against Chestnut Hill College Griffins.

The offense ran rampant in their previous matchup against the Griffins as the Knights tallied six goals for a 6-1 win. The scoring was led by Guro Eriksen's two goals, and goals by Alma Mana'o, Alexis Quealy, and Christina Loizou. The Knights outshot the Griffins 25-7 with a 13-5 shots on goal advantage.
Nikoletta Pravata saw action in the second half making three saves.

The Griffins were defeated 3-1 in their season opener against Shepherd University on Thursday (Sept. 2). Olivia Medeiros scored the lone goal for the Griffins while goalie Bri Hewlett made two saves on the day.
Next Match-up: The Knights travel to North Easton, Massachusetts as they go up against Stonehill College Skyhawks at 11 a.m.
