Flushing, N.Y.- Non-conference action continues for the Queens College men's soccer team as they travel to Rindge, New Hampshire with a match-up against #5 Franklin Pierce University Ravens.

After the Ravens struck in the opening minute of the game, the Knights had to wait until the 84th minute to knot the game as Adrian Garcia successfully converted a penalty kick. In the first overtime, the Knights were held shotless but were the more threatening team in the second overtime. But 110 minutes were not enough to separate both teams despite the Ravens outshooting the Knights 17-9, with 7-3 shots on goal advantage. 
 
Scouting Queens College Knights last game: at Dominican College Chargers (Sept. 2, 2021)
 
The Knights are coming off a 2-0 season opener victory over Dominican College. Amadou Seck (Dakar, Senegal)  scored 37 seconds into the second to break the scoreless tie as Nicholas Tagios (East Williston, N.Y.)  delivered a pass from the right side for Seck to convert into the lower-left corner. Tagios would finish off an excellent debut with a goal of his own in the 73rdm minute as freshmen Leonel Zelaya (Amityville, N.Y.)  delivered a cross allowing Tagios to head it over the Chargers goalie. 
 
Scouting Franklin Pierce University last game: vs. Nyack College (Sept. 2, 2021)
 
Ranked #5 in 2021 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Preseason Poll, the Ravens opened the season with a 4-0 shutout of Nyack College Warriors. Braudilio Rodrigues found the net twice, while Javier Nemesio Garcia and Pedro Juan Vicente scored the two other goals. The Ravens outshot the Warriors 17-2 with 8-1 shots on goal advantage.
 
Next Match-up: The Knights will travel to Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday (Sept. 8) as they go up against Jefferson Rams at 3 p.m.
