FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Queens College women's soccer team continues non-conference play on Wednesday evening as they match up against Nyack College Warriors. The two sides are meeting for the first time in five years. The Knights are on an eight-game winning streak and have outscored the Warriors 27-2 in their 10 meetings. They carry an unbeaten 4-0 streak on the road against Nyack.

Led by Erin Vernillo, Brooke Delano, and Taylor Bonanno, the Knights shut out the Warriors 3-0 in Flushing. Queens held an 18-9 shots margin and 9-4 shots on goal advantage. Nicole Cranny made three saves in the first half to earn the win.
Scouting Queens College Knights
The Knights have opened the season 0-1-1 and are coming off a 2-0 loss against Stonehill College on Sunday (Sept. 12). Freshmen
Julia Ragone (Centereach, N.Y.) remains the lone goal scorer for the Knights having scored her first goal from the penalty mark against Chestnut Hill College in the season opener on Wednesday (Sept. 8).
Scouting Nyack College
The Warriors are 3-1 on the season and are coming off a 6-0 loss against Franklin Pierce University. On the season, they have scored 6 goals and are led by Shanice Rapp with three goals and one assist on the offense. While Zion Dewerff has scored two goals and Milena Ricken has scored one goal to date. In goal, Lea Zehringer has logged over 388 minutes making 22 saves with a 2.09 goals-against average.
Next Match-up: Following the Knights' non-conference game against Bloomfield College canceled due to inclement weather damage, they will prepare for their next match-up against the Tigers of Holy Family University. The Knights will travel to Philadelphia on Monday, Sept. 20 with kickoff slated for 4:00 p.m.
