Flushing, N.Y.- The Queens College men's soccer team returns to action with a day trip to Waltham, Massachusetts as they take on the Falcons of Bentley University (1-1). The two sides are meeting for the first time since September 5, 2013, which saw the Falcons defeat the Knights 2-1 in Flushing.

The Knights opened the season hosting the Falcons but the home opener was spoiled as the visitors beat the Knights to the final score of 2-1. Senior Peter Touros scored the lone goal for the knights in his return. Both sides attempted 10 shots apiece with the Falcons holding the edge with a 5-4 shots on goal.

Hurt by injuries, the Knights fell 0-3 as the Ravens controlled the tempo of the game. The Knights were unable to get a shot on goal while the Ravens had five attempts outshooting the Knights 11-3. Junior

The Falcons are 1-1 coming into their matchup against the Knights and are high off their 3-1 win against Holy Family. The offense is being led by TJ Walker who has scored two games on the season. While James Gallagher, Eric Makhatadze, and Connor Mote have scored a goal apiece. Starting goalkeeper Markus Foehr has been the first choice goalie and has made six saves, with a 3.43 goals-against average on the season.
Next Match-up: The Knights will travel to Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday (Sept. 15) as they go up against Holy Family University Tigers at 7 p.m.
