CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. – Queens College women's soccer junior Erin Vernillo was selected as the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced.  Vernillo earned the honor after netting three goals in the Knights' split week.

Vernillo opened the week with a two goal effort in QC's comeback win over Philadelphia University Wednesday afternoon.  Trailing 1-0, she evened the score at one in the 67th minute before netting the game winner with 33 seconds remaining. Vernillo then scored QC's lone goal in their overtime matchup with Bentley.

She will next gear up Tuesday afternoon as the Knights return to action with a match up against the Lightning of Goldey-Beacom College at 3:30 pm before closing out the week with an ECC road opener against #20 LIU Post Saturday at 12:00 pm.
