Men's Soccer Racks Up 22 Shots In 1-0 Loss To Bridgeport

QUEENS, N.Y. - The Queens College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the University of Bridgeport.  The contest's lone goal was tallied by the Purple Knights in the 13th minute.

The Knights held a 22-8 advantage in shots in the contest, but were unable to find an equalizer after Bridgeport grabbed the early lead on a goal by Erick Romero.

QC also attempted 13 corner kicks in the match, with seven resulting shot attempts.
Bridgeport goalkeeper Fabio Junior registered nine saves in net, while James Brostowski made two stops for the Knights.

Queens is back in action Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm, as the Knights complete their season opening six game homestand against LIU Post.
