Box Score

Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. - The Queens College Knights women's soccer team lost to Mercy College, 2-0, in a game played on Saturday afternoon in Dobbs Ferry, New York.  The loss ended the Knights unbeaten streak at three games.

QC played this afternoon's game minus seniors Lisa Cassata and Rebecca LaPorte, both of whom were dealt red cards on Tuesday against Dominican College in the 1-1 draw. The 2-0 loss was their second in East Coast Conference play for the 2013 season.

Of Mercy's four shots on goal, Mersina Onesto was able to save two of them, only allowing goals by Viridiana Ortega and Jessica Carillo. Offensively, the Knights only shot on goal was by Jacqueline Maisonave, which was turned away by Mercy freshman keeper Nicole Augustine.

The Knights next play on Thursday, October 10th when they host the Nyack Warriors at Queens College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 PM.
