Old Westbury, N.Y. – The Knights men's soccer team fell to just their third loss of the 2013 season with a 1-0 loss to NYIT.  Against East Coast Conference opponent NYIT, the Knights suffered their second loss in ECC play.  Despite the loss, QC is in the thick of the playoff race, holding on to the fifth spot in the Conference.

The first half featured two saves by Knights keeper Sean Geohegan and a shot on goal by Nicholas Matusewicz, one of four shots taken by Queens in the half. In the second half, the game was untied in the 77^th minute by Tech's Alberto Ruiz.

The Knights men's soccer team will return to the soccer pitch on Tuesday, at 3:30 PM when they host the Georgian Court University Lions on the campus of Queens College.
