Flushing, N.Y. (September 4th, 2012)-The Knights Men's Soccer team opened up their home schedule with a 2-1 victory over the East Stroudsberg University Warriors on Tuesday.
 
Battling rainy conditions, QC got production from freshman Paul Sandoval (#9) who scored both goals for the Knights. His first goal, which came 31:48 into the affair, gave QC a 1-0 lead after knocking the rebound off the goalkeeper home. Sandoval's 2nd goal was setup by a beautiful cross by senior Danny Stoker (#23).
 
In goal, freshman Stillanos Fotinos (#31) had just four shots against him, ending the day with a .750 save percentage and his first win of the season in net.
 
Head Coach Carl Christian's Knights are now 1-1 and return to the pitch on Saturday, September 8th as they host Felician College at 1 PM.
