Flushing, N.Y. (September 10, 2012)- The Knights defeated Assumption College 1-0 to move to 2-1-1 on the 2012 season.

The game was scoreless until senior Lorena Russi netted the lone goal of the game off a corner kick to give the Knights a 1-0 lead at 63:59 in the 2^nd half.  In net, senior Allison Breakey saved all 5 shots on goal against her to preserve the 1-0 shutout for the Knights.

Head Coach Carl Christian's squad will visit Chestnut Hill College on Wednesday, September 12^th at 4 PM.
