QC's four game winning streak came to end this afternoon in a
loss at the College of St. Rose, who sit atop the
NCSAA/HendrickCars.com NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Poll.
The final score of the contest was 7-1.
Allison Breakey made two stops before she was beaten by Gianna
D'Errico of CSR at 24:49. The two sides exchanged shot attempts
without a goal until St. Rose scored twice in the final 3:14 of the
half to change the entire complexion of the game. Kimberly Morton
got the first goal at 41:46 on a one touch cross and Jaclyn Evans
followed with a deflection from the top-right of the box two
minutes and five seconds later to give CSR a 3-0 lead.
St. Rose added three more scores before Laura D'Amore got the
Knights on the board with her first of the season at 78:52. Marisha
Case of CSR then closed out the scoresheet in the 86th minute with
her first of the year.
