The Dominican College Chargers stifled the Knights offense in a
3-0 win in Orangeburg on Thursday.
Jorge Zubillaga put Dominican in the driver's seat early by
notching an unassisted goal just 5:54 in. Alex Rodier followed 10
minutes later with another unassisted tally to give DC a 2-0 lead
which they would take into the break.
Rodier added his second unassisted marker of the afternoon at
the 62:45 to give Dominican a 3-0 cushion. The Knights could not
recover, mustering only two shots - one on goal - over the final 45
minutes of the match.
Demetrios Touros made seven saves and Danny Stoker recorded a
team high four shots for QC, who return to action on Saturday as
part of a soccer doubleheader at Molloy College.
