The Knights traveled to Brookville on Saturday to take on conference foe C.W. Post. The game would decide who would finish in first place and have bragging rights going into the ECC playoffs. The Pioneers stunned the Knights 2-0 dropping them to 11-6-1 (5-1-1 ECC) and the Pioneers improve to 11-1-4 (6-0-1 ECC).
The Pioneers came out strong and gained control early, waiting no more than forty seconds to blast their first shot on goal with goalkeeper Allison Breakey making the stop on Ivana Babic's shot. The Knights lone chance of the first half came in the tenth minute when Sarah Boucher's shot was saved by C.W. Post Goalie Allie Weiser. The first half would end in a 0-0 draw with C.W. Post out shooting Queens 7-4 with Allison Breakey making four saves.

No more than a minute and a half later the Pioneers scored again on a corner kick. Qaroline Nahl connected on a low corner ball from her teammate Tove Eriksson to put the Pioneers up 2-0. The Knights had chances of their own but could not finish. QC's Kirri Bolton and Brittany Silipo both missed shots wide. Laura D'Amore's shot on goal in the in the 74th minute was saved by Weiser and proved to be the last chance to score for the Knights. Despite losing 2-0, Allison Breakey stopped 9 out of 11 shots on goal and did a fantastic job of keeping her Knights in the game.
Although the Knights effort for a first place bid came up short, they still claim the second seed in the ECC and earn a first round home playoff game. The game will be next Friday @ 2:30 on the campus of Queens College as the Knights take on the visiting Purple Knights of Bridgeport.
