Knights battle to a 1-1 double OT draw.

The Knights Sophomore striker Brittany Silipo got her team on the board first in the thirteenth minute with an unassisted goal that came off a Dowling deflection. QC continued to apply pressure in the first half outshooting their opponent 6-2 but could not connect on any other opportunities.

The second half of the game Dowling came out battling proving to be a worthy opponent. Both teams traded blows with Queens outshooting Dowling 6-4. However, Dowling's Megan Emanuelo took a long pass from teammate Dayna Galli and connected on a goal that just got by an outstretched Allison Breakey at the 75 minute mark. The goal knotted the score at one all.  Both teams sensed the necessity to score before the end of regulation with QC's captain Laura D'Amore just missing a shot wide with twelve seconds left in regulation.

In the first over time Dowling was the only team to get off a shot in a seemingly uneventful ten minutes. However in the second OT momentum seemed to shift in QC's favor with shots coming from Katherine Colon and Lorena Russi which were both saved by Dowling's Goalkeeper Alicia Commisso. Those were the last two chances of the game which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Knight's with a  conference record of 5-0-1 travel to C.W Post  on Saturday October 30th which will decide who will take first place and the number one seed in the playoffs.
