QC beats the rain and Felician, 4-1

Lorena Russi scored twice and Sarah Boucher added a goal and an assist as QC won at Felician College, 4-1, in a torrential rain storm. The win was the Knights' seventh in their last eight games.

Russi gave QC a 1-0 lead off a rebound of a Sarah Boucher shot at the 19:34 mark but JoJo Pisani scored for Felician to tie it exactly two minutes later. Christina Salameh scored on a volley at the back post off of a Katherine Colon corner kick for her first of the year and fifth of her career with just 2:26 left in the half to give the Knights the lead for good.

It took exactly 55 seconds into the second half for QC to add some insurance when Russi assisted on Boucher's goal from 20 yards out. Russi then gave the Knights a commanding 4-1 advantage with her second goal of the day and third of the season with the assist going to Katherine Colon (her second helper of the contest) at 52:56.

Allison Breakey backstopped the victory with three saves as QC outshot Felician 23 to 6 on the evening.
