In the first set, the Knights grabbed a 2-1 advantage before NYIT answered with the match's next seven points to take a six point lead.  A QC surge cut the margin to two, 14-12.  Four straight points for NYIT put distance between the two squads.  Ahead 20-16, the Bears put the set away with a 5-2 surge.

Similar to the opening stanza, NYIT erased an early QC lead in the second set.  With the Knights ahead 4-2, the Bears took control with 9-1 run, as a Knights attacking error gave NYIT a 11-5 lead.  From there, the home team forged ahead and later took a commanding 24-12 lead after a 5-0 run.  A kill by Allison Fowler closed the set in favor of the Bears, 25-13.

In the third set, NYIT jumped out to an early 8-2 lead.  The Bears would not trail in the set, but the Knights were able to cut the deficit to one at 15-14.  Trailing 23-16, QC cut the deficit to three, before NYIT closed the match on kills by Madison Strippoli and Lana Kravtchenko.
