PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Queens College women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference matchup to No. 13 Pace University, 21-4, on the road Monday night. Sophomore Patriece Ausili tallied two goals in the setback for the Knights.
The Knights fall to 0-5 on the season, while the Setters, the 13th-ranked team in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) National Coaches' Poll, move to 5-1 overall.

The Setters added two more goals before Ausili got Queens going with a goal 7:26 in, cutting the Pace lead to 3-1. Haimson then scored on a free position shot for the Setters, but sophomore Lauren Gentile brought the Knights back within two with a goal on a free position shot a minute later, making it 4-2.
Within seconds, Haimson recorded a hat trick with another goal, giving Pace a 5-2 lead with 20:23 to go until halftime. After the Setters tallied two more goals to take a five-goal lead, sophomore Margaret Iavarone placed in a free position shot to cut the deficit to four with 14:54 until the break.
Pace then ended the half with four straight goals to head into the halftime break with an 11-3 lead. The Setters continued to rack up the goals to begin the second half, posting eighth goals in a row to start the half and capping a 12-0 run that lasted 38:06. Ausili scored her second goal of the game with 6:18 to go before Pace added two more en route to the 21-4 final.
