Flushing, N.Y. - The Queens College lacrosse team went to the field on Friday to visit a Physical Education Class at Townsend Harris High School. The school, which is located on the corner of campus, had the team come to teach some lacrosse fundamentals to the students at the school.
Head Coach Todd Kaiser and several players demonstrated a fundamental, stick-handling drill and explained the many unique rules of lacrosse. The rain subsided and they were able to show off for the students as well.
Coach Kaiser reflected on the day, "Lacrosse is a wonderful sport and to be able to introduce lacrosse to the kids is the rewarding part. Hopefully the will love the sport I have been around most of my life."
