Martello Grabs a Game High Six Ground Balls in 20-5 Loss to Philadelphia

Philadelphia - The Queens College lacrosse team fell to Philadelphia University 20-5 in a game played in Philadelphia on Wednesday.  Taylor Martello collected a game-high six ground balls for Queens.  She also added a goal and an assist.

The Knights were behind 3-0 when Janet Campo found Martello to opening the scoring for Queens.  Campo would score two more times in the half, with her final marker coming off a helper from Martello.

In the second half, QC got goals from Kristilyn Reynolds and Gabby Casanova, with assists coming from Campo and Kristen Korzevinski.

The team is now 1-10 on the season and will look for their second win on Saturday. April 19, when they host Roberts Wesleyan at 9:30 AM.  The game will be their annual Think Pink contest.
