Flushing, N.Y. - The Queens College lacrosse team fell to Saint Michael's 15-3 in a game played on a rainy, damp afternoon in Flushing on Wednesday. Sophomore midfielder Carly Chierico scored for the third straight game.
It was a tale of two halves for the Knights as they trailed 12-0 at halftime, but rallied to equal Saint Michael's scoring output in the second half (three goals each) to fall 15-3. The three QC markers came from Gabby Casanova and Alyssa McCormick, in addition to Chierico.
The Bayside, New York, native had a game-high six groundballs and took five shots. Kahli Evans made seven saves between the pipes for Queens.
The Queens College lacrosse team returns to action on Saturday, March 22, when they host LIU Post at noon.
