Flushing, N.Y. - The Queens College lacrosse team has announced its schedule for the upcoming season on Tuesday. The team is under the guidance of first-year head coach, Todd Kaiser, and assistant coach, Whitney Kovar.
The season opens in March for the Knights, when they face a pair of Northeast 10 schools beginning with Assumption on March 1, in Worcester, Massachusetts, before coming home to face Southern Connecticut State on the fifth.
From there, its four straight road games as QC faces UDC, St. Thomas Aquinas, Georgian Court and St. Michael's before coming back to Flushing to host LIU Post on March 22. They close out the month with a road game against Mercy on the 26th.
Queens closes the season with five games in the month of April, three coming at home. The home matchups are Dowling (on the fifth), Roberts Wesleyan (April 19) and Bridgeport (the 23rd). The game versus Bridgeport will be the Senior Day event for the team.
The Queens College women's lacrosse team finished the 2013 campaign with a 10-6 overall mark, including a 4-3 conference ledger.
