Cross Country Wraps up Season at NCAA Northeast Regional Meet

BETHPAGE, N.Y. (Nov. 17, 2018) - The Queens College cross country teams braved the bitter cold on Saturday (Nov. 17) to compete in the NCAA Northeast Regional championship meet at Bethpage Polo Park, where the season began a few months ago for the Knights.

The women's team was led by Simone Gmuca's time of 26:08.70 in the six-kilometer course, while Crystal Jia finished the course in 26:36.60. The Knights finished 26th among all teams at the event; meanwhile on the men's side, Clivensky Etienne placed inside the top-100 in the 10K with a 96th-place time of 36:30.80.
