This Week in QC Athletics: Oct. 29-Nov. 4

FLUSHING, N.Y. (Oct. 29, 2018) - The fall season has finally reached its conclusion with winter sports set to begin competition next week, but the Queens College men's soccer and cross country teams will be looking to extend play further as the squads battle for the East Coast Conference crown. Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Tuesday, Oct. 30
Volleyball at Caldwell - 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 31
Men's Soccer at LIU Post - 1 p.m. (East Coast Conference Tournament Championship Semifinal)

Friday, Nov. 2
Volleyball at NYIT - 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 3
Cross Country at East Coast Conference Championship Meet - 10 a.m. at Roberts Wesleyan
Volleyball vs. LIU Post - 1 p.m. (Senior Day)

NOTES: If the men's soccer team picks up a win at LIU Post on Wednesday, the Knights will play in the ECC Championship game on Saturday. The team will also have to wait to see who they might play and where they may go, with the other semi-final also taking place on Saturday between top-seeded Mercy College and fourth-seed Saint Thomas Aquinas in Dobbs Ferry.

The cross country teams will compete for the ECC crown on Saturday at Roberts Wesleyan, with the meets scheduled for a 10 p.m. start time in Rochester. It will be the first action for both squads since the St. Joseph's-LI Invitational on Oct. 13.

The volleyball team will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday facing LIU Post at Fitzgerald Gymnasium at 1 p.m. This will take place after the Knights travel to Caldwell on Tuesday and NYIT on Friday.
